Dr. Candice Wallace
Dr. Wallace began her tenure at Hampton University in the Fall 2012 semester. She earned a B.A in Psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and her M.A and Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Howard University. Dr. Wallace teaches courses in Social Psychology, Personality Psychology, Developmental Psychology and Junior Seminar. Her research interests include factors related to group dynamics. Specifically, Dr. Wallace is interested in exploring social rejection and race relations. Dr. Wallace's research interests also include racial identity and intimate/interpersonal relationships.
Dr. Wallace has a passion for research that extends to her students. She enjoys incorporating students into her research as well as exploring student research interests. She is devoted to providing students with information and skills necessary for future careers in Psychology.
